And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. (Luke 2:7, KJV)

This was the humble beginning of Jesus Christ who “is the reason for the season…” Some might say he began humble, but became rich, powerful and famous at the end. Not at all, no! He died on the cross at a very young age without anything, and was not known outside of the small area around Israel.

We try to benefit from his birth and death to claim our success and fame. Many of our church leaders have succeeded in doing so. However, the good news of Jesus Christ continues to shine because of thousands of nameless stars who faithfully followed the footsteps of Jesus and reflected His light onto the world. In this season of Christmas, I hope all of us at YoungStar will be faithful stars who will be lights of this world. Merry Christmas!
